Erica Cerra was born in Toronto, Canada on 31 October 1979. Her most famous role was as deputy Jo Lupo from the Syfy television series Eureka. Cerra was born in Vancouver British Columbia of Italian origin. Since the age of 8 Cerra was captivated by her talent for acting. Cerra was a regular in numerous commercials while a young child. In the following years her career took a break from the stage. In 2001, at age 22, she returned. Vancouver Lifestyles Magazine voted her as one of Vancouvers hottest young actors. Cerra has appeared as the character Deputy Jo Lupo in Eureka a Syfy show that aired between 2006 between 2006 and 2012. In 2006, she also appeared in the video of The Michael Buble song Save the Last Dance for Me. Cerra was a prominent character in several well-known and highly acclaimed TV shows like Battlestar Galactica. Cerra has also appeared in many major movie releases like Man About Town, with Ben Affleck & Rebecca Romijn as well as Blade:Trinity which features Wesley Snipes. The face and body of Cerra was used as a model for Ashley Williams, a character in the Mass Effect video game franchise. Khondabi noted that she had got married to Joey Scribner Howard, her best friend from high school who has a degree in mechanical engineering working in the energy industry. Khondabi stated that Joey and she met in the classroom at Greenwood Christian School, and they were close friends for a number of years prior to beginning dating in high school senior year. Howard was a student at Irmo where he graduated Dutch Fork High School. Howard as well as Khondabi have been close friends for many years before they started dating. Khondabi was a graduate of Emerald High School in 2007 as well as the University of South Carolina in the year 2011 and earned a broadcast journalism degree. She has a minor in Sports and Entertainment Management. Joey has graduated from USC also. They have one fur baby and a dog named Liam. Khondabi and Joey enjoy food, and her most loved food from home is onion rings in the Dixie Drive-In. Khondabi said, "I'm a very curious person." While I was in elementary school the school's daily headlines were produced by me and I'd do interviews with educators and broadcast them on our school's radio program. Oakland Elementary had a news program called WOAK. Khondabi stated that her first major assignment as a reporter after college. It was with WAGT located situated in Augusta Georgia. Khondabi stated that she worked in the news for six years. After Augusta my first assignment was as a morning journalist for WOWK Charleston West Virginia. My next stop was Columbus Ohio to work as a traffic reporter and host of morning news.
